One of the highlights of Sturgis this year was getting to meet the "Gunny" R. Lee Ermey at Michael Lichter's Born Free exhibit, he was just walking around talking with whoever wanted to talk with him when me and Darren freaked out and told him we were big fans and would he mind taking a pic with two ex Army guys to which he replied.."Sure, everybody makes mistakes!"..fuckin classic!!!! Stay tuned for more Sturgis pics and hopefully I can figure out how to rotate them so they are straight next time!!! RM

I know I haven't posted in a while but after I get back from Sturgis I will get it in gear and start regularly posting again, time is a very precious commodity that I seem to have very little of lately so bear with me folks..if you see me in Sturgis and I don't say hello it's because I didn't know you wanted me to..Roadside Marty

I ran into this SOA member at the Bama Swap and I was hoping he would let me prospect so that I could one day be a "real bad boy" instead of the pretend one I've been all along according to some people but I guess he was about to have heat stroke wearing those chaps or he didn't recognize true BIKER material..either way I didn't make the grade but maybe one day??? I sincerely apologize to my many fans for my lack of recent postings, when you browse Internet porn your computer has a great chance of getting a virus therefore preventing you from doing anything with it..there's my PSA for this month now I know it was a couple of weeks ago but the Bama Swap and Drag put on by Rickey and Michael Lewis was simply KICKASS!!!!!!! It's been a long time since I was at a swap meet where you could actually buy PARTS instead of trinkets for that new Pakistani leather vest that your H.O.G. patch is glued on to so this was a real treat..I saw everything you could imagine from Cushman scooters (thanks Tim) to small block Chevy parts this swap had it all! As usual I saw some great brothers that I always look forward to seeing and even though Bill and Ross can't navigate worth a shit they still got us to a great BBQ place for lunch and I gotta say it was good to meet Ian as well he can sure take a joke..a cone shovel ain't nothing but a top end away from an Evo LMAO!!!!!!! Once again a brother has gotten to close to "Irene" and Knucklehead fever has taken hold of him,the last victim was Alan Berg but this time it was none other than the undercover lover Mr. Jay Miller aka Death Science Jay!!! Jay stopped by the shop after a wonderful brunch at Waffle House after picking up his new truck and I turned my back for just a second and when I looked back he already had his hands on the bars and was about to sit down on that Bates seat..well you can guess the rest..great seeing you brother, see you in Gaytona in a few days!!! Ladies and gentlemen may I introduce Mr. Kyle Tracy to our loyal blog followers..he's been a close brother of mine for a few years now and has helped your reporter out of more than one predicament (go figure) with a good laugh and a whole lotta knowledge! He's been building a Twin Cam chopper for awhile now and he will tell you straight up that he can't wait to put it in the Chopper Time show at Willie's, I've included a pic of Kyle with the abnormality he gets when he goes out in his shop (cold beer) and a shot of just one of the trick set ups he made for this chop..yeah, it's an H-D rear master cylinder and pedal flipped over to run a hydraulic foot clutch, just think about that one for a bit and realize how much work that took!!!! He's a devoted husband and father and U.S.M.C. veteran who works hard and is one helluva standup guy..can't wait to lay down some miles beside you on that thing brother!!!!!!!

Well tonight Scott put the final piece on my back and I couldn't be happier with the result!!! He free hand drew the design on there and asked if I wanted to take a look and I said fuck it brother it's not like I'm gonna be able to see it anyway LOL!! When you give a true artist the opportunity to be creative you just get such a beautiful tattoo..THANK YOU for everything brother!!!! My buddy Otis, this little guy will just steal your heart...wish I could take him home with me!!!
Daniel prepping the fork legs, this guy knows his shit!
I'm amazed at how quick this happens!
Prep work,as with most things, is key to a quality finish!
Daniel is a one man operation but his dad helps him out quite a bit (who by the way is one helluva cool guy) he used to work for one of the big coating companies in town but struck out on his own and with every business there have been ups and downs but the quality of his work as well as his excellent customer service skills have pulled him thru..he's a dedicated husband and father who works hard to provide for his family and I'm proud to know and do business with him!!!! If you need QUALITY work done I highly suggest giving him a call at (850) 501-1535 or an email at Daniel@dnapowdercoating.com...telling him I sent you might make the price go higher though LOL!!! I can't forget his newest helper,Otis, man I love that little guy..I have a special place in my heart for Daschunds and just as soon as I saw that little guy I knew he was special..THANKS AGAIN for everything Daniel..Roadside Marty
