Yoshi from Vibes!

Yoshi and his family are in the process of travelling around this part of the country right now (Florida) and I was fortunate enough to be able to give them a tour of the shop for an hour or so the other afternoon..judging by how excited he was when I was showing him around I think he had a great time LOL!! He's going to do an article for Vibes early next year on a bunch of U.S. builders and shops and I can't thank him and his family enough for including me and my Dad in that article..be safe my friend..Roadside Marty

Livin the dream!!!

I guess I'm a really lucky guy to live here in Florida where you can ride pretty much year round, now don't get me wrong I bitch about the heat and the bugs and the low paying jobs that are pretty standard around here but since I am a native I feel I can do that but for the most part you have days like Sunday when you just spend the whole day riding around on your bike enjoying the scenery and the brotherhood and friendship when you happen to stop..me,Big Josh,Killer(Becky) and Melissa did just that this past Sunday and I'm still smiling!! We had an awesome lunch at Paradise Bar and Inn on the beach and then a great ride along the coast down to a great biker bar called The Outpost..the only problem was it was Sunday and the day was over way too fast!!!! Thanks again guys..Roadside Marty

The Black Tibetan!!!

This year in Sturgis at the Jeff Decker exhibit I was fortunate to see one of my all time favorite bikes ever..the Black Tibetan by Jason Jessee! The first time I ever saw this bike was in an Iron Horse issue from I believe 94 or 95 and I was just blown the fuck away but seeing it in person was just incredible..these pics just don't do the bike any justice. There were plenty of other bikes that were just as badass but this one was just my personal favorite..Roadside Marty

You never forget your first!!!

You never forget the one who broke your cherry, the one who introduced you to the life that would take you in and make you who you are today well your looking at the one that did it for me..this is my first Harley, a 72 XLCH that me and my Dad Shelton put together when I was 15 (I will be 42 in a few months, man am I gettin old) this bike has carried me and some women thru ALOT of great and not so great times thru the years and over time as I became more infatuated with my Panhead and then my Shovels and Evos and then Twin Cams she just sat patiently waiting for Daddy to come home and give her some attention..well I'm still not sure just yet what I'm gonna do to bring her back to life but I have a few ideas as well as a few parts that I have been stashing away over the years just for her..I guess you really never do forget your first love after all!!!
