We're back!

Sorry 'bout the delay in posting but we have both been swamped with work since Daytona. Here's a couple pics from Willie's Chopper Time show. Michelle and Gnar Jen, sorry we didn't get to get up with you guys. I didn't have a chance to check blog messages the  whole time I was down there. Maybe in March eh? If you know me then you know how much I fuckin HATE trikes..so just to prove to all the "sensitive" people out there that I'm not a total asshole, a sidecar is the "ONLY" acceptable type of third wheel on any motorcycle...PERIOD!!!!!! Catholic Discipline!

The X footage from Decline of Western Civilization I posted a while back got me thinking about this band. The soundtrack to this film was one of my first punk rock music purchases. I had heard of almost every other band on it ,but not these guys. I fucking loved this song and all the great sound bites of French ex-patriate frontman Claude (Kickboy Face) Bessy tearing everyone from new wavers to his own fans a new one! Claude co-founded Slash magazine/records which was probably the first west coast punk rag/label and was responsible for recording and releasing the debuts of bands like X, Fear, The Germs and many other greats from that era.Unfortunately he never got around to getting his own band in the studio so we are only left with this track from the movie and a few live bootlegs.A shame because they were a  spectacular document of the early California punk scene when originality and experimentation was encouraged and before "hardcore" came in and regimented everything to the same look and sound. Claude moved to England in the early eighties (apparently despondent over the election of Reagan) where he worked for the infamous Factory records in Manchester before relocating to Barcelona where he died of lung cancer in1999.

Mitch Allread's 60/66 Pan/Shovel from December 200 IronWorks!This bike rules! Perfect lines all around. Check the way the exhaust follows the frame down and all the speed holes. Somehow they're everywhere but not over done. Balance, perfection!

Garage Co. Customs...

It's become a required tradition to stop by GarCo. on the way to Sturgis every year and as usual it's great to see Larry and Spencer..those guy's have always got some cool shit going on as shown above!! If your ever in the Birmingham, AL area do yourself a favor and stop by there, who knows if your early enough Larry might treat you to a Booberry muffin from Bojangles LOL!!!! Definitely Roadside Marty approved!!!!

Papa Clutch's newest build...

I haven't known Tim Andig for very long but what I do know is him and his crew at Papa Clutch Customs in Ainsworth, IA build some beautiful bikes, this is his latest that he brought to Sturgis..can't wait to see what they do next!! It was a pleasure hanging with Tim, his lovely wife Dana and Jayson while I was out there..they keep the cooler stocked with Diet Mtn. Dew so you know I was there often!!! Thanks guy's...Roadside
